North Sumatera Exports in March 2017 Used $ 831.16 Million

Abstract

Export value through loading port in North Sumatera in March 2017 increased from February 2017, from US $ 763.86 million to US $ 831.16 million or an increase of 8.81 percent. Similarly, compared to March 2016, North Sumatra exports increased by 47.20 percent.

The highest increase in export value in March 2017 came from rubber and rubber goods category (HS 40) of US $ 61.23 million (49.45%), while the largest export decrease occurred in animal / vegetable fats and oils (HS 15 ) Of US $ 9.54 million (-2.90%).

Exports to China in March 2017 reached the largest amount of US $ 109.72 million followed by the United States of US $ 98.38 million and India amounting to US $ 55.11 million with the contribution of the three reached 31.67 percent.

According to export destination group in January-March 2017, Asia (outside ASEAN) was the largest with US $ 276.50 million (33.27 percent).
