Asahan Regency's economy will grow by 4,68 percent in 2024

Abstract

The economy of Asahan Regency based on the size of the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) in 2024 at current prices reached IDR 57,457.93 billion and at constant 2010 prices reached IDR 31,341.30 billion.

The economy of Asahan Regency in 2024 grew by 4.68 percent. In terms of production, the highest growth occurred in the Accommodation and Food and Beverage Provision Business Field at 8.00 percent. Followed by the Transportation and Warehousing Business Field at 7.81 percent and the Education Services Business Field at 6.44 percent.
Three business sectors that play a dominant role in the GRDP of Asahan Regency in 2024 are the Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Business Sector of 43.47 percent, followed by the Processing Industry of 20.71 percent and Wholesale and Retail Trade; Car and Motorcycle Repair of 18.15 percent.
In terms of expenditure, the highest growth was in the Consumption Expenditure Component of Nonprofit Institutions Serving Households (PK-LNPRT) at 11.84 percent, followed by the Household Consumption Expenditure component at 4.71 percent and Government Consumption Expenditure at 3.14 percent.
The Household Consumption Expenditure component contributed the most to GRDP, namely 49.40 percent, followed by Gross Fixed Capital Formation of 23.98 percent and Net Exports of Goods and Services of 20.37 percent.
