Exports of North Sumatra In February 2017 Used $ 763.86 Million

Abstract

Export value through loading port in North Sumatera in February 2017 increased from January 2017, from US $ 707.76 million to US $ 763.86 million or increased by 7.93 percent. Similarly, compared to February 2016, North Sumatera exports increased by 27.98 percent.

The greatest increase in export value in February 2017 came from animal and vegetable fats (HS 15) of US $ 50.65 million (18.20%), while the greatest decline in export value occurred in the organic chemicals (HS 29) category US $ 6.41 million (-14.34%).

Exports to China in February 2017 reached the largest number of US $ 119.18 million followed by the United States for US $ 76.19 million and India for US $ 47.59 million with the contribution of the three reached 31.81 percent.

According to export-group countries in February 2017, the Asian region (outside ASEAN) was the largest with a value of US $ 277.78 million (36.37 percent).
