HARVEST SURVEY AND WIDE FIRE CROPS 2015 BPS DISTRICT OF SUBSIDIARY

June 1, 2015 | BPS Activities

Survey of Harvest Area and Area of Food Crops 2015 is intended to obtain data of harvested area and area of land standard with approach of agricultural household and land measurement in the field. From the results of this survey will be known how big differences in data on harvested area and planted area when compared with the results of the Agricultural Statistics (SP) that routinely conducted every year. The survey is also expected to obtain the latest galengan conversion figures for the calculation of harvested area and net cropping area in paddy fields.

The survey was conducted with 2 (two) methods ie direct interviews to respondents and measurement of land area in the field. Household sample to be measured land area directly to land location by using GPS.

Fieldwork of this activity both interviews and land measurement will be implemented for 3 (three) periods. In May-June 2015 to photograph the harvested area of Subround I 2015 (January-April 2015), September-October 2015 to scrap the harvested area of Subround II (May-August 2015), and January-February 2016 to photograph the harvested area of Subround III (September -December 2015).

Sub-districts affected by this activity as many as 17 Districts from 25 Districts in the District Asahan. The first stage of the implementation of updating, enumeration by interview, or direct measurement with GPS has been completed according to the target. Hopefully in the second and third stage later also can run smoothly. The sub-district passing by officers is quite distant, although it has been attempted to cross in the nearest subdistrict respectively but there are also some officers who must cross reach 30 to 60 kilometers by passing through the Sumatra highway or through a lonely plantation road, and not infrequently the path of plantation Is still much damaged, what else must be through the village road that when it rains muddy when the heat a lot of dust.

After the implementation of the updating, officers conducted the enumeration by conducting interviews on selected respondents. The last stage after the update and the enumeration is the direct measurement with the GPS that the supervisor has performed. Things that have been imagined, waduh ......... must be very tired to walk through the bed (fort) both outside beds and beds in, the distance from the respondent's house to the land to be measured there is a very far, plus the area of land to be measured there Which is more than two hectares. Try imagine readers, already more than two hectares of land is also more than one field, if the Batak people say amangoi amang, if people say Tanjungbalai bajayo, if the Malay say alamak, ya .......... It is up to what language is clear certainly not only this author who experienced something like this, friends of other supervisors throughout Indonesia will also experience it even though it is not as heavy as the writer feel this. But it all depends on the intention, seriousness and sense of responsibility so that any heavy work will feel light. Good luck in this stage one will be the motivation for success in second and third stage later.
