SUSENAS BRIEFING FIRST HALF 2015

In early 2015, BPS back will carry out activities that have become routine agenda of social statistics section, namely the National Socioeconomic Survey (SUSENAS). The data collected through this susenas is data relating to socio-economic conditions that include health conditions, education, fertility, family planning, housing, social protection and other socio-economic conditions.

Before conducting updating and enumeration susenas usually held training for officers in advance. Susenas officer training has been carried out in November 2015, 2014. Given the implementation of Susenas (updating) held in late February and March implementation. Because of distance training and implementation of a long time (about 3 months), it is necessary to holding briefing officer. It is intended to refresh or recall the definition of the concept and materials that exist in the questionnaire as well as how to fill out a questionnaire that may have forgotten or officer there who do not even understand, because Susenas 2015 is already using the new document.

BPS Regency Asahan susenas Briefing held for 1 (one) day which was held on February 18, 2015 at BPS Office of Regency Asahan, Jl. Tusam No. 2 range followed by 45 participants consisting of 20 people CWC, 16 officers from Partner as enumerators (PCS) and 9 cation / staff as field supervisors (PMS).
In the first half of this amount for the census block sample Asahans Regency 72 census blocks. Briefing susenas guided by the Head of the Social Statistics Section Regency Asahan, Sri Rezeki, SST, MM. Before the briefing began, the event was opened by the Head of BPS Regency Asahan, Ir. Tuti Hidayati, M.Si to provide direction and speech. In his speech BPS Regency Asahan provide encouragement and support to the participants of the briefing that will be able to work optimally and responsible. BPS head Regency Asahan expect that the participants will be able to understand the concepts / definitions, methodologies and Standard Operational Procedure (SOP) which has been given by the instructor and the implementation of field officers can solve problems in the field and data quality remains a concern for field staff. Besides, it is also the Head of explaining the purpose of the briefing is to make the perception of officers in understanding the concepts / definitions used and the procedures and the procedures for filling the questionnaire used in the survey.

Hopefully the material presented during the briefing could be a provision and guidance for participants that will be applied in the field and it is expected that the implementation of the first semester 2015 susenas can achieve optimal results, running smoothly and on time, and produce quality data.
