March 20, 2015 | BPS Activities
SUSENAS was first held in 1963. In the last two decades, until 2010, SUSENAS held every year. SUSENAS in design has 3 modules: Module Consumption / Household Expenditure, Social Module Module Culture and Education and Housing and Health and each module is carried out every 3 years.
SUSENAS a survey activities to gather information / data on population, health,
education, family planning, housing, as well as consumption and expenditure. In
order to improve the accuracy of the data generated and for the calculation of
poverty, susenas data collection began in 2015 carried out biannually. First
semester was conducted in March and the second semester in September.
Enumeration of March with a large sample size to generate data to district /
city level, while the enumeration in September with a smaller sample to
generate the data only for the provincial and national estimates. Enumeration
of March using 2 (two
) Questionnaire, the questionnaire Cor and questionnaires Consumption and
Expenditure. Enumeration September Consumption and Expenditure questionnaire
and a questionnaire module and Socio-Cultural Education.
Layout / display the questionnaire used in 2015 was also different from the
previous quarter. The addition or subtraction variables Susenas also performed
in 2015. This design is done in the framework of the effective implementation
of interviews and efficient use of paper to the questionnaire.
For the implementation of the field, in the District Asahan are a total sample of 72 census blocks (or about 720 households) with field personnel by 45 people consisting of 36 field enumerators (PCS), which is derived from the CWC 20 and 16 people from Partners Statistics. While 9 as a field supervisor (PMS). Each PCS work 2 blocks census. And each PMS oversees about 4 PCS or supervise as many as 8 blocks census. With the burden of supervision / inspection that so much of course this is not an obstacle for supervisors to carry out their duties. Schedule enumeration took place from 1-20 March 2015.
At the beginning of household enumeration, supervisory guidance and performance evaluation to the clerk, it is intended to minimize the errors that occur both in terms of concept definition, how to fill out the questionnaire and the lack of probing of the officers so that mistakes can be avoided which may occur as early as possible.
After completing the enumeration of households enumerator then submitted to the supervisor for further examination and to do data processing (data entry).
In accordance with a predetermined schedule, hopefully the implementation of
Susenas in Asahan can run smoothly and on time, completion of the problems that
occur at the time of data collection in the field that could ultimately
achieved optimal results and a higher quality of data generated .
