On October 2 2024, the "Development of Sectoral and Beautiful Village Statistics" activity was held to improve understanding and application of statistics at the sector and village level. This event also included the signing of the Integrity Zone declaration by the participants, as a joint commitment to creating transparent and accountable governance.
This activity was opened by the Head of BPS District. Asahan, Rika Ventina, SE, M, Si, and filled with material presentation by the Assistant for Economics and Development, Dr. Ir. Oktoni Eryanto, M.M.A, about the importance of Sectoral Statistics and presentation from the Asahan Regency BPS Associate Expert Statistics, Abdul Hakim Parapat, SST, M.Si. regarding the Development of Sectoral Statistics and Beautiful Villages in 2024. This activity was also attended by the Secretary of the Asahan Regency Bappeda, Dr.H.Muhammad Syafiq, STP, MMP.
This activity was also attended by the sub-district heads (or representatives) from Teluk Dalam District, Air Batu District, and Air Joman District, Village Heads from Teluk Dalam Village, Banjar Village and Hessa Perlompongan Village, and a number of representatives from OPDs in Asahan Regency.
It is hoped that through this activity, it will be possible to optimize the use of data in development, especially development in Asahan Regency.
