Publication of Rice Farming Statistics of Asahan Regency This year 2013 is a publication of agricultural production statistics book by BPS Kabupaten Asahan in 2014. The data presented include data on planting area, harvested area, extent of puso and estimated state rice production in 2013, covering 25 districts in Asahan District. This publication is intended to provide a detailed description of the condition of food crop agriculture, especially rice crops grown on paddy fields and non-rice fields, the use of seeds planted, the use of irrigation facilities, intensification of agricultural technology or non-intensification and large production. Hopefully this publication can better complement the information from the agricultural sector and is expected to be useful as input for policy makers and decision making in planning and formulating development strategy especially in agriculture development sector.
