September 2021, North Sumatra's exports experienced a decrease of 9.52 percent

Abstract

The value of exports through loading ports in the North Sumatra region in September 2021 decreased compared to August 2021, from US$1.16 billion to US$1.05 billion or decreased by 9.52 percent. When compared to September 2020, North Sumatra's exports increased by 37.22 percent
The category of goods that experienced the largest increase in North Sumatra's export value in September 2021 compared to August 2021 was the organic chemical group of US$5.97 million (10.91%).
Exports to China in September 2021 were the largest at US$185.47 million, followed by the United States at US$117.21 million and India at US$89.14 million with the contribution of the three reaching 37.44 percent.
According to the group of main export destinations in September 2021, exports to the Asian region (outside ASEAN) are the largest with a value of US$386.70 (36.95%)
