KSA Survey in Defense Village, Sei Kepayang Subdistrict

Thursday, April 24, 2025, Acting Head of BPS Asahan Regency, Abdul Hakim Parapat, SST, M.Si and his entourage carried out field supervision of the Area Sample Framework Survey (KSA) activity in Pertahanan Village, Sei Kepayang District. The Area Sample Framework Survey (KSA) is an area-based survey conducted by direct observation of segment samples and aims to estimate the area by extrapolating from the sample to the population in a relatively short period (rapid estimate). The application of the KSA method is based on the latest technology. The technology used in the KSA is an Android cellphone that has the KSA application installed to photograph and determine the rice growth phase. The coordinates of the selected observation points are locked so that in order to take pictures, officers must actually visit the location. The KSA survey was carried out on the last 7 days of each observation month.
