Enumeration of Susenas and Seruti Sample Households March 2024

BPS Asahan Regency carried out sample household enumeration activities for the Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) and Quarterly Household Economic Survey (Seruti) from 19 February to 9 March 2024. This activity previously began with training for field enumerators consisting of enumerators and supervisors, then proceed to the stage of updating the list of households in the selected sample census blocks, then processing the results of the updating and drawing of household samples to produce a list of sample households which will be taken to the field during the enumeration of sample households. The Susenas enumeration of sample households in Asahan Regency was carried out in 78 sample census blocks consisting of 780 sample households (10 sample households per census block) spread across every sub-district in Asahan Regency. Meanwhile, the enumeration of Seruti sample households was only carried out on 180 sample households out of the 780 Susenas sample households, so there were 180 households enumerated using the Susenas and Seruti questionnaires. After the enumeration is complete, it continues with inspection and verification activities of the enumeration results document, processing and validation, and tabulation and analysis. The data that will be generated from Susenas and Seruti can be used for analysis at the district/city, provincial and country levels.
