The Economic Census 2016 (SE2016) is the fourth SE activity held by the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) after 1986, 1996 and 2006. The data will be conducted on all business actors in Indonesia including Government, Non-profit Institution, Koorporasi , And Household. To provide complete information related to this SE2016 activity, the Asahan District BPS on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 conducted the socialization activities of the 2016 Economic Census (SE2016) at Sabty Garden Hotel Kisaran.
The socialization was held in preparation for the Economic Census 2016, which will be held simultaneously throughout Indonesia in May 2016. The socialization was attended by Assistant III of Economy and Development representing Pj. Regent of Asahan Regency, FKPD element, related SKPD, Association / Association of Entrepreneur / Business Actor, Corporate Leader / BUMN / BUMD and Community Leader.In the direction of PJ. Asahan Regent read by Assistant III of Economy, Development & People's Welfare Bpk. Drs. Mahendra. MM appealed to us to address this SE2016 as our responsibility to the nation and state in an effort to improve the welfare of the community, to be asked to the ranks of district government, community, and all economic actors ranging from heads of related offices / agencies, subdistrict heads, village heads / Lurah, head of the hamlet / neighborhood head, to take on their respective roles and responsibilities in making this success successful. Acknowledgments are submitted to BPS Asahan District for its coordination in the implementation of SE2016 socialization activities. Furthermore, he conveyed his presentation on Economic Review of Asahan Regency 2010-2014. In his presentation, utilizing BPS data and knowing that the Asahan Regency economy during the period 2010-2014 has experienced significant growth, the agricultural sector is still the dominant sector in Asahan regency.
Furthermore, Head of BPS of North Sumatera Province, Bpk. Ir. Wien Kusdiatmono M.M., delivered his presentation on the Economic Census. Exposes conveyed include the introduction of the Economic Census 2016, the purpose of the Economic Census, what sectors are recorded, who is the respondent, until the data generated from the Economic Census activities. In his presentation it was stated that the 2016 Economic Census is not the responsibility of BPS alone, but it is the responsibility of all parties to participate in the success of the government program. Chairman of Bappeda Kabupaten Asahan, Bpk. H. Zainal Arifin Sinaga, MH acted as moderator and guided the event with question and answer session.
In closing, a brief presentation of HDI (Human Development Index) with New Method, by Head of BPS of Asahan Regency, Mrs. Dra. Minda Flora Ginting M.M. At the end of the event, Asahan District BPS Head submitted ASDA2015 Publication to Assistant III and also Plaque as a gratitude to the Resource and Moderator.
